There are many factors that would play a role. Rule of thumb would be to check your coolant level, make sure there are no leaks, check that your radiator fan is working, feel your radiator core at the top and bottom, if it's boiling at the top but I've cold at the bottom it's possible that it's blocked...other that that, you may have a damaged component. If you aren't mechanically minded it would be best to take it to a mechanic

SOURCE: How do I replace the headlight on my VW City Golf

you should have an h7 bulb, once to take the rubber grommet behind the headlight, you will see the h7 socket, which has to wires in it, gently pull thi socket off, then there is a small wire holding the bulb in place, gently unhook the wire from the one side. and turn it to the other side and the bulb shoudl come out... replace the bulb putting it in the same way the other bulb came out.. notice the h7 bulb has a small notch on one side. it has to go in the same way or the wire will not hook back on. once it has been placed, turn the wire over the base of the bulb and hook it again, then put the socket back on the bulb and put the grommet back on the headlight.

It is likely the coolant is not reaching operating temperature, please verify the engine thermostat is working.

Hi guys, please assist me on this my 2008 Tena Citi Golf has got a problem. The rev counter is moving up and down and is not idling smoothly. I have changed the oxygen sensor, map sensor, thermostat.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Land Phones Category.

The things you changed have no bearing on the symptoms and clues.

Clean Throttle Body and MAF (mass air flow sensor), as opposed to Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor.
