I have a 2008 328i with an error code of U112B. Can you tell me what that means?

not sure on X5 but on 5 series it meant -
U112B - No message from instrument cluster, could instrument cluster fuse. Could try disconnecting and reconnecting battery to see if that clears it. (Make sure you have radio code before disconnecting)

They mean there is something wrong with your car. Perhaps you could tell us what error codes you have so we can help diagnose your problem.

Some are manufacturer codes,not generic

that means that the computer has detected an error. the error will be stored in the computer as a error code. you can go to autozone or just about any parts house and they will read it for free and tell you what the code means. any one of the many sensors on the vehicle could have generated an error. there could be 25 to 75 reasons as to what the error could be. you have to have the code read in order to know what has happened.

it means 24 Code 24 ISC solenoid valve fault, go to any auto parts store and they will tell you the fix for this problem code. auto-zone etc.

It means your on board computer, or ECM, is faulty and will need to be replaced.

Iam getting error 92 ETV MTR FB and my car is producing a laughing sound when i press brake pad.

It is a CHECK engine indicator which means that there is something wrong with the car. What you need to do is hook-up the engine analyser to the ECU/computer of the car to get the error code, From the error code, you can tell what is wrong. It's best to send to the workshop to trouble shoot it.

When the warning light comes on, your car generates an error code which is helped to diagnose the problem.

Got a local mechanic or most any auto parts stores (usually free) and ask them to scan your OBD2 port.

Their scanner will download the error code and then they can tell you what the code means and start you in the right direction to make repairs.
