Are you sure it is not an electrical problem? Spray some starting fluid into the throttle body. If it starts, then it is a fuel problem. If not then you need to look at computer or sensor problems.

The pump is located in the pan you have to remove the transmission bolts out and raise the engine up with an engine stand and remove oil pan bolts and remove pump, it's quite a job.

This should be a a HT-4100 engines. Distributor rotation is counter-clockwise. The driver bank is 1-3-5-7. The passenger bank is 2-4-6-8 from the front of the car. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Just like a small block chevrolet

Hello: Follow the gas line to the carburetor, Remove the gas line, remove the large fitting from the carburetor, the filter is behind that the only other filter is in the gas tank.
