Why is the cimarron 2.8 eng hard to start when warm ?

It feels like is not getting gas. the pump is working!

SOURCE: 2000 hyndai accent, starts hard, wont start when engine gets warm

ask hundai if there is a main relay. These are often the cause of this kind of problem and normally reside under the dash.
This is common in Honda, Accura, toyota and huyndai.
Replace main relay or take it apart and resolder all connections.

Car is geting ready to retire, To many miles on it, Put it out to pasture. Has it ever been tune up, Is the battery good in it? It can be a lot of different things, It is not a new car.

Its either your fuel filter needs to be changed or ur battery is dying.
Fuel filter is a quick change for 10 bucks that should be done about every 30000 miles and is many times over looked.
To check ur battery you can go to any parts store and they will do it for free or if u have a multimeter you can do it ur self. To do that have someone in the car and you hook up the meter to the battery and it should read 12v. Then while cranking the engine over see if the volts drop below 10. If it does ur battery is most likely the problem.

My 1987 F250 eng.460ci . It stalls while driving and idling. And hard to get back started ack like no fuel but I replaced both fuel pump and fuel relays and tune up

Remove the gas-cap, to let air into the gas-tank.
You have a "vacuum" (low air pressure) inside the tank,
and the fuel-pump is not strong-enough to overcome that condition.

06 equinox eng cut out when warm does not crank over untill cool

Start with the fuel pump.When you get into your car turn the ignition key to the on position but do not start your car.Listen for the fuel
Pump to engage,you will hear a low whine.If you hear the pump engage,that doesn't rule that the fuel pump is fine.It sounds like the pump though.

1987 ford 150. Here is the problem. She will cold start and even run but once she gets warm up the fuel injectors stop pumping and she shuts off. You can tell it's not getting gas.

There are 2 possibilities that I know of. First, the module has a cold start circuit that switches to a RUN circuit after a temperature switch warms up. I can't say if the spark would stop before the gas does so if you feel this is a gas problem the module may not be your problem.

The second possibility is the fuel pump. There should be a fuel pump relay in addition to the fuse. Since it is not blowing the fuse, your relay may be cutting out. You may have a clogged fuel filter making the fuelpump overwork. It would help if you can get a pressure reading from the gas line.

Autozone and Oreillys do loan out tools with a deposit. They also scan your vehicle for free. Then you can test fuelpump pressure cold and hot.

Hard to start

U are right about the gas draining back to the tank, the electric fuel pump in the fuel tank has a check valve built into it to prevent drain back, the system should always have pressure, to check this u will need to hook up a fuel press test guage at the test valve on the top of the eng near the injectors, run the engine and shut it down, the pressure should not drop more than 5 PSI overnight.
