SOURCE: mitsubishi montero sport 99 - car will not start.

could be your ignition switch, first make sure you have power going from your battery to the starter, check at the starter for 12.5 volts then make sure starter has its ground, if that isnt it test the ignition cause thats probably what it is.

SOURCE: How to change horn on 1998 montero sport

Just changed my horns on my 98 Montero Sport and come to find out it was the horn relay. The horn relay is located near your power steering resivour its a small black square you will see some electrical lines running to it. Give it a couple taps and then try out your horn again. If that dosnt work your horns are located right behind your turn signals on your front bumper, they are circluar 3in and golden colored. You can get dealer ship replacement horns for 30 plus dollars or go to a autozone or advance auto and get aftermarket ones

SOURCE: Gear Neutral light blinking while the gear is on

I believe it means that your transmission fluid is either getting too hot, or there's not enough fluid

Severe oil leak between the engine and the gear box

What color is the oil? I it's reddish, then the input shaft seal on the transmission is leaking. If it's motor oil, the rear main seal is probably leaking. Either way, it needs to be taken to a repair shop as soon as possible.

Transfer case leak 2003 montero sport

Check to see if :
(1)- transfer case is overfilled. If so drain to proper level.
(2)-Vent is clogged or jammed closed. Clean or replace vent.
(3)-Output shaft seal incorrectly installed or damaged. Replace the seal and check contact surface for nicks and scoring.

Hope this helps.
