Has two cans of charger, compresser running, the bigger of the two AC hoses cold while charging nothing inside car, then hose got hot and still nothing inside car. It's been charged for month tried daily, seems to be no links. Manuel has no information. Anyone know anything to try? Thanks for your help.
More than likely the squirrel cage fan attached to the blower motor has broken or come apart causing it to bind up in the housing making the vehicle blow a fuse. Check the fuse block for the blown fuse then try the switch for the fan speed again if no noise, you may want to inspect the fan for damage.
It sounds like the heater motor may not be operating. When you switch the heater fan on can you hear the motor running? If not then it may have blown the heater fan fuse, check the fuse's and then try it again. If the fuse is ok then it could be a faulty switch or fan motor.
If nothing is blowing, you may have blown the fuse for your fan. You can check to see if the air is indeed heating by driving down the road with the heat turned on and the air control in the fresh air position, (not recirculate), if the fan is not blowing and the air control is on recirculate, no air will come thru the system, so this test will not work. So be sure it is set to fresh if you try this.
see if the air duct piping is still connected to the blower housing or the fan blade might have come loose from the motor and the shaft is just spinning inside the fan blade
Three possibilities; All related to blown fuses, 1- Fuse blown in the engine compartment LH. 2- Fuse blown in the cabin forward LH below the dashboard (below your legs left hand). 3- Fuse blown in the harness (wire bundles) below the dashboard very easy to reach with your hands “just look underneath steering wheel ". U said " The air conditioner blows, but the air is not cold. " Yes only the fan working which might receiving power independent all from those other mentioned things. If all fuses OK. Then look for broken wires. Regards; MAR
do you mean the fan doesnt blow either or its just not blowing cold air? check your fuses under dash and under the hood
