Wish would have seen this last! You are on right track! But I found that the four-way flasher switch was dirty and with much prying around on it it finally disengage the partially sent flasher. System now works fine

SOURCE: no brake lights of blinkers 1990 dodge dynasty

While not likely, it is possible that the light bulbs in both sides are have bad filaments. Turn on ignition key (but don't start engine). Then turn on parking lamps (first detent or "click" on headlamp switch). Walk around car and look for illumination on front parking lamps and rear tail lights. Turn on the right turn signal. Are those (right hand) lamps now changing brilliance? Try the left turn signal in the same manner. Are those (left hand) front and rear lights changing briiliance? Take note of any positions that did NOT change briliance when the turn signals were activated. If NONE changed briliance, you either have a bunch of bad bulbs (unlikely) or a bad flasher (more likely) or a bad turn signal switch (most likely) or perhaps wiring problems (possible if the car has been in a collision or has been "worked on" by some "non-expert" mechanic). Check the action of the emergency flasher control switch located on the steering column (facing up). Pushing it in (down) should result in the button going to two different heights alternately (low, high, low, high). You could just have bad flashers or corroded flasher contacts! Good luck!

SOURCE: Dodge Charger Interior lights quit working

check your fuse box, unlikely all bulbs went.
could also be wiring problem. tedious job to check this.
get the thing in to neutral , switch contact and get to the wiring checking for ground en positive voltage. Some very old car type had this problem with one broken lightbulb only. But have not seen this since 1978. I suggest a connector is loose or cable broke.
But I had an old Austin Allegro once who had several bulbs run out of live.

Check all fuses. Use a test light to check if there is current to the rear bulbs when flashers engaged. If there is, then replace the burnt bulbs. Check for ground at the rear lights.

SOURCE: The blinkers and brake lights on my daewoo Lanos not working

Hello. As you know, this car was only made for six years by the Korean automaker. For some if not all of these cars the flasher is behind the instrument cluster. It is accessible through an access panel on the side of the dash by the driver's door. The flasher is most likely green on a violet block.
That said, in addition to the flasher being a possible culprit I would also suspect a relay, and a poor ground wire. Trace the ground wire from these lights to the frame of the car and make sure you have a good solid connection, with no corrosion. If the contact point is corroded relocate the ground screw and make sure that you have scraped and sanded the spot so you are contacting bare, clean metal.

see the flasher module.
see C305 pin 2, any load on that pin will cause it to flash.(inside)
that would be any switch in the combo switch stuck on.

The Blinkers and the Brake Lights are the same bulb. So check the brake light switch. Flashers use a different flasher unit, than the turn signals

TURN SIGNAL, BRAKE & HAZARD LIGHTS

No Turn Signal Operation (blinker)The turn signal lights in your car are a basic electrical system that controls the front and rear blinker lights to alert the intended direction of the vehicle. We have listed some of the most common problems and repair troubleshooting tips below:
Troubleshooting Procedure
To start troubleshooting this problem:
  • Turn the key to the on position (do not start engine)
  • Inspect the system fuse located in the fuse panel and replace if needed. If you cannot find the location of the blinker fuse consult your owner's manual or an online repair manual
  • When a blinker flasher fails it can cause blinker lights to say on, not blink, or not go on at all. To test the blinker system flasher, remove the flasher unit and insert a jumper wire between the two terminals. If blinker stays on in both directions without blinking, replace the flasher. If you cannot find the location of the blinker flasher consult your owners manual or an online repair manual.
