I have a GMC Envoy and was installing a sound system. However, when installing, I accidentally touched the positive power wire to the negative wire and shorted some stuff in my car. Most stuff still works but the interior lights do not turn on and neither do the dash lights. I'm assuming this is the same fuse because the knob in my car that controls the dash brightness also controls the interior ceiling lights brightness.

The main fuse that controls the entire fuse box is what I found worked for me on my 2003 GMC Envoy. I accidentally touched my wrench to the left side of the fuse while hooking the negative up on my battery causing all my interior lights, radio, a/c etc. to not work. It's only $4.99 at advanced auto. Took me awhile after checking every damn fuse in the car and not finding anything. Hope this helps

On most gm you remove the positive and negative posts from battery and touch them together for at minimum 15 minutes. This will clear computer of codes but if you have a problem it will come back.

You may lose the Bose amp too. That would be no sound from the speakers too. I don't think they will exchange.

Hopefully its just some wires that has came loose and/or touching. Is it only happening when playing the radio or cd's to? Im having the same problem with mine but i really just don't care. I dont listen to the radio that much. I might mess with it when I have to replace my heater core.
