The head light switch goes open circut most times on high beam . Two options to fix replace switch, or wire in a duel head light relay. I have used the second option in our shop many times.
Question list two different vehicles...Is it a 1995 ford explorer or a 2003 ford focus? Since a complete set of wiring diagrams is a large amount can you narrow down the specific area needed? If so i'll send what you need...saailer
The Headlights do not have a fuse, they have a built in circuit breaker in the switch. If they are not working or blinking on and off the first place to check is the main Headlight switch, the switch and the large electrical connector to it get hot and the contacts burn, this either causes the headlights to blink or not work at all. Replace the Headlight switch and the connector to it as one repair. Do not cut all the wires at once when you splice in the repair connector, one at a time, solder the individual wire connections and shrink tube them, do not use "Crimp" connectors!.
Not unless you know your vehicles systems and how they work.
At least, you would need a wiring diagram, and some electrical theory and testing experience.
I would go for a repair shop, to help you out.
