Sunglass holder on my 2010 Jeep GC came off track (can't shut it close). Any suggestions on how to repair?

i just made 4 keys. last month. (bought keys discounted (real jeep keys and 2 no button keys)
at KEY SHOP in town we programmed them.
using non JEEP tools.
no dealer rips ($500 for working key BS)

my 2008 JK jeep i can DIY and did.
its operators guide in the glove box shows how.

the operators guide told you the same.
if you had read it.
says, you cant.
need link to the free one at jeep
have it

get one you should and keep it.

2010 GC. USA,
dome lights stuck on, caused by, door switches stuck on.
cause:

1. switch bad
2. adjusted wrong
3. jammed up.
4. wires shorted to the switch.

No track in there

Broken Window Regulator

Remove the door panel
You will see the problem

replace it.

Take a look inside the changer with the holder removed and clean any contacts you see. There also needs to be the proper amount of electronic lube inside.
Using a CD lens cleaner is also something to try.

I have one '98 GC 5,2L V8 and remember that the first time I put a CD in my changer it read error, even though it was loaded properly. After pulling out and replacing the holder once or twice it played fine.

It Has Jumped Off track, Requires Removal of Pannel and Close Inspection. Then Proper Procedures to Correct. Can Be As Sumple as GLASS GLUE in its HOLDER Failing

Sounds like either the fuel pump is going bad and overheating, or, the crankshaft position sensor is going bad...both items will give similar symptoms. Both are not terribly difficult jobs but are time consumers. Before doing either repair, you need a code scan and better diagnosis than I can give you here without a hands-on examination. Fuel pump can be diagnosed by spraying carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking in "no start" condition. If engine fires up then stalls it's a pump problem. If not then it's a spark control problem.

Should be attached to the passenger side firewall or passenger side on heater box in vehicle. What's the problem with it? If it runs at all you can listen & track it down.

if it's still stuck as of today look under the rear bumper in the center,WEAR PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR and with a flashlite high up in there you will see a couple of studs with nuts. using a extension and i believe a 13mm socket loosen but do not remove both nuts. pull on the door a couple of times to free it up and then retighten both nuts. now try the door slowly and it worked for me.you will most likely have too repeat this until it operates freely and closes tightly [to keep the elements out].it is not labor intensive and it's worked on my 96 gc twice. best and luck and let the rest of us know how you came out. jeepinjiminy

You may want to have the wiring harness inspected. A major section under the fuse box(hood on 96 GC 4.0) may become chafed by a close proximity AC gas hose connector. My mechanic said it was slowly chewing at the harness. It caused me fuel pump problems, but your intermittant problem could be similar.
