what would make 2005 dodge ram 1500 hemi 5.7L v8 . its bogging down when driving .i changed the cam sensor and it still does it

that could mean the either your oil pump is going out or maybe oil filter clogged

Oil changes based on mileage is the best in my opinion. I haven't heard of any sludge issues on this model. You can't believe everything just because it's written on the internet. Just follow what the owners manual calls for and you'll be okay.
