I have known since 1976 that if you have the factory shop manual you can disassemble and reassemble the entire vehicle if everyone had the factory shop manual then there would be absolutely no purpose for your service whatsoever in the imaginary world of unicorns and magical rainbows that answer equipped me with the knowledge to remove my power distribution box repair it and have it back in place however that answer gave me absolutely no more idea of how to repair it than what I had before it was completely and totally useless

Assuming you have played with the child locks on the doors you may fnid that your particular car is missing the linkage from the interior door handle to the door lock. Apart from making up a rig yourself I would suggest going to a breakers yard or possibly your local Ford dealer

Why my 2003 crown Victoria police interceptor start overheating after removing the battery to start another car

You have a voltage regulator that regulates the battery charge. When you removed it you probably bypassed the voltage regulator and your car was running with too many volts and causing it to overheat.
