SOURCE: Suddenly leaking power steering fluid, reservoir empty
The best bet is its trans oil. The gearbox has crushable washers/gaskets, the bolts may just need to be tightened slightly to crush the gasket and seal.

SOURCE: Where do I add power steering fluid?
The power steering pump is in the front of the engine. You will see the serpentine belt on the pulley and it will look something like htis picture. The pump has a resevoir with a cap on top which is removable and has a dipstick built in to tell you how low you are on fluid.
SOURCE: Power steering fluid is leaking and makes really w...
Issue is not likely to be the power steering pump. The sounds are made when there is low fluid in the pump/system. Cheapest check is to make sure that the feed and return lines at the pinion housing are firmly attached. You could also have a leaking seals in the rack and pinion assembly. If you see bubbles in the power steering fluid and there is pressure in the power steering system, this is a strong indicator that the issue is seals and not the pump itself. In Regina, Canada, Canadian Tire charges $45 for an inspection. To replace the power steering pump is about $300, and just the hoses is about $145. Obviously the $45 inspection is your best bet.

This sounds like the hydroboost unit is leaking.behind the master cylinderThe braking system on this using the power steering pump to provide power assisted brakes instead of a brake booster. The hydroboost unit most likely needs replaced.
