SOURCE: no gas going through fuel pressure regulator on 1995 dodge carava

I doubt the regulator is bad, the fuel pressure regulator is after the injectors in the return stream to the tank, more likely it is the fuel pump.

SOURCE: Fuel pressure regulator location on a 2002 Dodge

The regulator is in the fuel tank. You must drop the tank to get to the system It is part of the fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator/fuel level sending unit. If just changing the regulator which you can, make sure you install new o-rings, put a little clean gas on them to install. Cheaper than a new fuel pump.

What to do if you don't have a fuel pressure on 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan

On the top of the engine in the supply rail/pipe to the fuel injectors there is a service port, looks like a tire valve, measure pressure there.

You likely have a defective electric fuel pump. The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. It may be sticking and when you start the engine with starting fluid the increased system voltage brings it to life. The next time this happens have a fuel pressure test gauge hooked to the test port on the top of the engine that supplies fuel to the fuel injectors, looks like a tire valve. You can buy a universal pressure gauge for about $40.00

What would cause my 2003 Dodge Grand caravan se, 3.3l 6 cyl to start shaking and acting like its going to cut off

If no "check engine" light on, perhaps a new fuel filter would be a good place to start, and have fuel pressure tested if it doesn't help. More info, such as does it only on highway driving, or all the time, when was last tune-up, fuel system cleaned etc?

1998 Dodge Caravan. engine dies and wont start. fuel pump was changed twice but i get a few miles & dies again & wont start. im thinkin fuel filter is plugged....

It might be your fuel filter. Also, Dodge and Chrysler is bad for fuel pump failures. A clogged fuel filter can cause this. Also, you might not be getting enough fuel pressure. There should be a test port on the van, where you can test the gas pressure. You also have a fuel pump relay or switch. This could be bad as well. Hope this helps you.

WHAT IS THE FUEL PRESSURE SUPOSE TO BE ON A 98 GRAND CARAVAN

The fuel pressure should be 49 psi. On all engines except the 3.0 liter you can check the fuel pressure at the fuel pressure test port located on the fuel rail. On the 3.0 liter engine you can disconnect the quick-connect fuel line fitting at the fuel rail and install a fuel gauge with a (T) fitting and adapters to check fuel pressure. Start the engine and check the fuel pressure. Hope this will help.

Sound like the fuel filter or the fuel pump or both at fault. Check the fuel pressure while the engine is cold, to do this turn on the key switch just long enough for the fuel pump to come on and then off. Turn the key off and look under the hood on the fuel rail for the test port with a valve stem cap, remove cap and using a rag and small screwdriver cover the screwdriver while mashing down on the valve stem inside test port. If you have alot of pressure coming out then it's ok. If not then the pump and filter is the problem. Fuel pressure should be around 49 psi. Hope this will help you.
