What is year--make--model?
Make sure battery has a full charge. If your saying it cranks good but won't start, check the basics. Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs, gasoline engine. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, also, check fuel injector pulse, where applicable. Any applicable trouble codes?
If your talking about ignition switch, have to check the switch, also check feed to and from ignition switch.
you must RUN the scanner/computer, you can have the manufacturer specification wrong. The electronic vehicle is complicated, by that reason you can have wrong tune up, PCM+BCM+sensor+ignition coil faulty ,etc see the diagram attached. God bless you
It sounds like you may have a bad starter or maybe even a bad ignition switch. Then again there is always the possibility that you may just have a bad connection some where. I hope this helps you out.
When engine cold, remove radiator gasket, fill with water and start the car with the radiator cap off, if the water is blowing out from the radiator, then you have a blown head gasket or bent head. If the water doesn't move inside the radiator if it's still then your head gasket and head are fine.
I asume that you didn't move the distributor to change the rotor and cap so there is no chance to left the spark timing a little delayed.
Remove the new spark plugs one by one and look for a sign of rust, that could mean that cylinder is getting water from the head. (Only if it didn't pass the radiator test).
Thank you so much William
