No power to the radio
Go to to jumia for box fuse
Fuse box will likely be under the hood area. All vehicles have the fuse panels there now. Could look in your owners manuel too it will show you where it is located and the fuse for each circuit.
Testimonial: "The radio fuse is not listed as being outside Owners manual says radio fuse is in the interior fusebox But I cannot find it"

there is another fuse box under the dash on the driver side. if you have your manual, look up the fuse positions in it and find the proper fuse. if i read your ad properly you have no power to the radio or cigarette lighter. this circuit is on one fuse in the fuse box under the drivers side dash

no, but with a older vehicle like this, it does not hurt to use a thicker oil grade like 10w30. i would also use this oil stabilizer called Lucas engine oil treatment once a year. it goes in like molasses and from experience, it cures the light engine knock.

The 1997 SL2 has a fuse for the cigarette lighter in a panel that is next to where the left foot of a passenger would be. The panel just pops off - held on by velcro.

Your owners manual should be able to help you there; however, check you cigarette lighter and anything else that doesn't seem to be working at the time of this event. If the lighter is at fault, it will need to be replaced.
