Fitting a ford v6 engine on to a audi gl400 gearbox

Hi Frank I am a technician with audi myself It may be that you require an engine e.c.u and not a gearbox one however has your A4 had any recalls carried out on the gearbox since purchase if not that would definately be something worth checking hope this helps.

Hi Amelnicov, I have the same car as yours but 2003, and do not have the dipstick for the autogearbox, mine is a Motronic and you have to go to the official agency where they have an scanner named Vag 912 , the quantity is messured by cheking the temperature of the ATF with this scanner. Sorry by my english.

you dont need a diagram to see the timing marks on the top/bottom pulleys,just clean them off and run a piece of chalk around the perimeter.they are a bit obvious
