Chrck immobliser system . key chip.then the cranck sensor has to be checked
Possible issue with the clutch pedal lock out switch. This switch will not let the engine start unless the clutch is full depressed.

It likely has a bad igniter in the distributor. It is the same as an ignition module, but Honda calls it an igniter.

Did he physically check the timing? IE pulled the timing cover off? You need a good scan tool. See if it shows cam and crank sensors, and if they are in sync. If you are infact getting fuel and spark, it should run, but you are not getting one or the other.
