If you are circulating coolant thru your heater core and not blowing hot air out the vents, the issue has to be in the air box. The blend door must not be moving. I would think you are needing either the blend door actuator or blend door coupler changed.

Yes it is - it sounds like the thermostat is stuck closed, which is preventing the coolant from circulating. Sooner or later it's going to be an issue, and probably at an inopportune time. Change the thermostat out and get rid of a potential problem before it becomes one.

SOURCE: INSTALLED NEW WATER PUMP,STILL RUNS HOT

Just follow the big hose on top af the radiator down to where it goes into the motor,The piece it connects to is the thermostat housing,Just remove the bolts and pull it off,You will see the thermostat,Replace with new one in the same direction as the old one is setting, and bolt back together.

SOURCE: 2002 dodge 1500 Changed radiator, thermostat, and hoses. No heat

Why was radiator replaced?Did it have heat before ? If it was plugged, the heater core may also be plugged. Try flushing it with a water hose in both directions. I dont know why the botton radiator hose would be cold, the radiator should be a uniform temp and the air coming through the radiator should be HOT, when the engine is at operating temp. What condition was the old coolant? if it was rusty, the water pump may have lower flow than normal.

SOURCE: i have no heat in my 1995 dodge 1500 4x4 just

You should see if the vent near the heater core is stuck. I had that happen once. It was in the position for the AC so it wasnt pushing the heat. plusthe vaccum line that operates the valve could of broke / rotted.

Any way to clear an auto heaer core wihout replacement? Replacement costs $1500 - $2000

Replacement of the heater core is not usually necessary unless it is leaking -- you can see or smell coolant inside the cab.
When the engine is running and warmed up, with the heat set for full hot, are both heater hoses hot? If not, you can try back flushing the heater core. There are several good videos on YouTube showing how to do this.
If both hose are hot but no heat, with the controls NOT in the recirculate mode, is there (cold) air movement through the vents inside the cab? If no air movement, your air intake plenum (area under the grill below the wiper blades) may be plugged up, blocking air intake to the blower fan.

2002 dodge 1500 no heat both heater hoses are hot but blows cold air

I would try replacing the engine thermostat it’s the cheapest place to start if that doesn’t get you any heat it’s possible that your heater core could be plugged

2003 dodge ram 1500......no heat

Does your heater motor run when you turn speed dial ? Have you checked the two hoses that run from the engine compartment to the heater core ? When car is at operating temperature, carefully touch both hoses which should be warm or hot. If only one if hot, then you may have a bad actuator. If both are hot, you may have a clogged heater core or none functioning heater motor. or resister.

If motor is not working, check fuses, if good, then check for power at the switch and then at the heater motor.

I have a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 5.7. Luke warm heat

are you talking about your heater core for heat in the truck ? is there a valve in the heater hose that you have to open to get the hoses hot to the core this is under the hood , follow the hoses , could be clogged core , does it over heat , or get up to temp should be about 190 normal temp for most motors why did you change these parts anyhow , did you use the radiator fix bars leak stuff that you put in , bars leak , if so you may have clogged your core , take the hoses off the core and blow it out ,pain in the but you went this far , ck for that valve to open

My heater core is fine in my 1998 dodge ram 1500 Laramie but i am getting very little heat

You can try replacing the water pump, but your heater core isn't fine. Unless you just replaced it. In that case you haven't purged all the air out of it.

NO HEAT

Your heating system is run by your cooling system. If your cooliant is low then you are not going to get adiquiate heat disapation to your heater core. So check the entire cooling systerm. Your water pump (low flow), hoses (leakage), you already checked the thermostat & heater core. So other than that I don't know.
