When you say it will not turn over, i think you mean that the starter does not turn???
Re check the starter connection, attention to the starter solenoid wiring. Good luck

there is only two things left. the crank sensor that is located at the top of the transmission bellhousing or the pick up inside of the dist. it is that black plate that sits between the cap and the dist housing. hope that helps.

New battery and new alternator,you are looking for a open fusable link,If all are good you maynot be looking at a charging system, start the vehicle at idle, leave it running turn on the light and use the battery gauge on the car and turn the lights step on the brakes (vehicle in park) does it stall then, If it does then you are looking at a charging system can you exhange the battery and can you get the alternator tested from an outside source or better yet uses a voltmeter and read the charging system the battery at charging will need to be 2 volts above battery
