You might have to change the spark plugs or at least have them cleaned.

SOURCE: 91 honda civic dx. Starts, runs for a few seconds then stalls

Try pounding on the gas tank with a rubber mallet or similar tool. (careful not to dent the tank) Try starting it. If it runs, replace the fuel pump (it's nfg). I've diagnosed numerous fuel pumps this way. Remember the pump needs to be replaced, if you drive it, you don't know when it'll fail for good. Hope this helps. Please post the results.

92-95 honda civic ex 1.6L vtec won't start! New battery, new main relay. Still no start. As you notice the engine would crank but won't start up. Also the dash lights aren't lighting up either....

Did you get the key switch checked out ? The dash indicator lights have to be on for the engine to start. So you are not getting power to the dash lights, and probably not to the computer or ignition coil either.

Why wont my 93 honda civic ex start and run and come out of park

You have to have power to the brake switch and the key switch to release the park solenoid.
There is an 80amp fuse and a 50amp fuse that powers the key switch.
Have you checked them to see if they have power ?

Air filter, ECU, O2 sensor, bad EGR valve, or clogged cat converter.

Onboard diagnostic computer should be throwing codes. Autozone can check these free (as will other part stores).

Afterhaving dead battery my 2006 honda civic ex engine won't start

check your fuel pump or your relay that controls the fuel pump if it turns over but cranks and cranks it's possible you aren't receiving gas . When you turn the key on you should hear the fuel pump pressurise if not i would check it first.

Cranks but wont start

make sure you have pressure to your fuel rail, if you do , then check your timing it could have jumped or be off, make sure you have spark to all four wires. and for the fuses turn your ignition key to on position and get a test light, ground the test light to a good ground and apply the light to both slots of each fuse, if it lights on both sides of the fuse then the fuse is good, if it only lights on one end of the fuse the fuse is probably bad so pull it and look to see if its fried, and if it doesnt light up on either side it is most likely good, thats about all i can think of, hope it helps
