Not them things ? they might need reprogramming so i can only suggest you enquire in a local garage but iam afraid you might need the dealer owing to the software needed .

SOURCE: 2006 town and country passanger sliding door problem

I've leased two Town and Country vans over the past 4 years, and actually purchased the latest one after the lease. In both vans the sliding doors, normally the drivers side, reacted teh same way. If the door was closed it would open, stop a one point, and then return to the open position. At times I could get it close. But over time the doors stoped working all together.

It is not due to the switch or the motor. Most cases like this (in in both of mine) it is due to the repetitive use of that door, and the realitive inflexibility of the wire harness. Over time, and with more uses (in my case the driver side sliding door was used alot) the wire in the harness fails. Picture it as a willow branch. One snapped off of a tree it first is green and flexible, and bends pretty well into any form. But over time, with age and repetitive bending, it will break.

The only recourse is a new harness, as the wire/wires are broken somewhere in the harness (the belt chain in the lower track of the door). I was temped to take it apart and try to repair it myself, but as the parts were under warranty (I have the extended 85,000 mile), I opted to have the professionals handle it. The repair without the warranty is under $200 typically (parts and labor). Good luck.

SOURCE: Ford F150 Pickup 2005 power doors unlock but will not lock

I had almost the identical problem on my 2005 F150 FX4 Extended cab last weekend. The power door locks would not lock using the keypad, remotes, or door buttons. Almost all other functions worked correctly. The doors unlocked, the radio delay functioned, and the interior lights dimmed. When I used the remote the horn would beep twice indicating that a door was open even there was no message on the message center that a door was open. When I used the keypad or remote, I could hear a soft click from behind the seat. I think it was coming from the body security module or body security module - whatever Ford is calling it this year. I pulled the fuse for the Power Door Locks(BSM). As I removed it, I heard a soft click - sort of like a relay resetting. It may have come from the VSM/BSM. It may have possibly been a stuck actuator releasing. I don't think so. It wasn't that load. In any case, everything is functioning correctly now.

SOURCE: Automatic door locks will not work.

you need to take it to the dealer and have them check the bcm for codes.... also have them check to be sure you have the latest software in the bcm.. its possible that you just need a software update... there are several TSB's covering the concern you have..... it can be a very simple fix with software or even a stuck lock switch may need to be replaced... without the proper diagnostic codes being read from the bcm all that can be done is guessing..and that can be expensive...

SOURCE: 2005 Pontiac SV6 Montana key fob unlocks doors but will not lock

For the sliding doors you need to clean the contacts, there are 6 or 8 on both sides, just wipe them clean as they are probably covered in oil/grease/grime.

SOURCE: sliding door does not lock with button on front

Your question is alittle vague,...so Ill do my best...If your van has central locking (all the doors lock when you lock the drivers door with a key) then I can easily say that the actuator for the sliding door lock has malfunctioned....However if you are implying that you cant lock the sliding door from the outside using a key then it is because the linkage inside the door has came apart (Both issues would cause the door not to lock with the power lock button) If it is the linkage this is easily fixed by removing the interior panel on the slider and reconnecting the metal rod to its rightful place, if it is the actuator you have to replace it by removing the interior panel..Good luck

Sliding doors will not unlock or lock with remote or inside buttons. does not automatically lock with other doors when 15 mph is reached. both doors do open and shut when already unlocked using remote.

On each door there is a connection that senses when the door is closed. If this sensor is dirty, then it will impact the locking of the door. You should also inspect your fuse panel for blown fuses

Door will not slide automatically; emits loud beeping noise

Something similar to that was happening with our Odyssey...the beeping when you are driving whether it's ongoing or intermittent is the "safety alarm" letting you know the door is not closed. The power lock is not engaging. What I do when I get the beeping while driving is hit the Door Close button. It causes the door to attempt to engage again. To fix it...we first cleaned out the space below the side running board (kids were hiding crayons and things in there), then looked for any obstructions along the top and bottom tracks. I sprayed a lubricant along the tracks (I'd suggest the dry lube kind...I used WD40 the 1st time and had streaks of it dripping down after driving), use a lube that has a long straw to spray in small places...and spray up into the track that runs the length of the middle of the car. Manually open and shut it a few times to get the tracks lubed, then try it out.
If you press the open OR close button by remote or in the car and get nothing...no movement/no noises/no beeping...then it could be the electrical circuit itself, the signal itself may be impeded...or the motor shot. Have you tried any of these suggestions before?

Battery died now power sliding doors and rear hatch not operating

1) Unlock all doors from driver's door while it is open. The driver's door is the only door to remain open during this process! 2) Turn the key from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the eighth turn ending in RUN. All the doors will lock and unlock if program is successful. 3) Turn key OFF and remove key from ignition. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the remote. (Press sliding door or rear hatch and it will open!) 4) If door locks do not respond, wait several seconds and press button again. If doors still fail to respond, try repeating steps (1-3).
