I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

I would check the owners manual or with Cadillac - its possible the remotes lost part of the signal and need to be reset. It sounds like the receiver is not getting a signal from them by using that button. Could be the receiver too.

You could try reprogramming the fob. Put the key in the ignition and turn it from off to run (not start) 8 times leaving it in the run position. The door locks will go down then up, now press the lock button on the fob (do this on all the fobs to program them all at the same time). The locks will go down then up again telling you that it received a signal and programmed. Remove the key, the locks will cycle one more time and your fob should be programmed.
Hello... not sure were the receiver is but the problem is mostly the remote key lost its pairing to the receiver and the receiver itself is good. Check to make sure the batteries are good in the remote key and change them if need be. Then reprogram the key.
There is only one receiver for the the key fob, so if any doors work, they are all supposed to work.
When one does not work, it is not because of the radio signal receiver, but because of the solenoid activator in the door itself.
