I drive a 2000 dodge Dakota
Should be bolts and nuts find nuts from underneath to tighten them down
Bolts go through bed and frame. Will have to crawl underneath. If it wasnt loose before tow i would make them fix it. Gd luck
Call the towing co. they should repair it or have it repaired, they have insurance for this stuff. If you get underneath the vehicle you'll see the bolts that secure the bed, move the bed around until it's square using the wheel wells and the gap between the cab and the bed as a reference then re tighten the bolts. I hope this helps, Take care. If you have more questions for me use testimonial and it will show up in my email. Thanks
SOURCE: the fan blade is loose & wobbles on the shaft on my dodge dakota
Fix it now or forever pick up the pieces...You have one of two problems possibly both...The fan clutch that the fan is bolted to has a bad bearing. replace it Or, the bearing in the water pump has failed. again...replace it. If fan clutch failed carefully check pump ...shaft bearing can be damaged by wobbling assembly. Seriously...don't ignore this if fan gets loose,it will damage far more than the problem you now have!!!
good luck!!
SOURCE: Dakota power steering leak
That's the power steering pressure switch and it is very easy to replace. I don't know how much the part is, but it cant be very much. It's a very simple switch. I'd just replace it.
SOURCE: Flat towing 1993 Dodge Dakota 4x4
That makes sense. The oil pump for the transfer case runs from the driveshaft, and the one for the trans runs from the engine. If you put the trans in neutral, then parts of it may be turning without lubrication.
Other things to watch on those trucks:
The electrical power goes through a splice near the battery and gets corroded.
Transmission lines tend to rust out near the tranny in salt country.

SOURCE: starter/alternator problems on 1995 Dodge Dakota
The bid cable on the starter may have had another wire on it that the alternator charges the battery threw,it may not have got reconnected,or the fusible link in that wire may have burned into.Or plain and simple the alternator went out.Check these things out and remove the alternator and have it check out to see if it is working properley.
