check the cylinders compression, if below to 95 psi remove the spark plugs then check if wet with fuel ,
if this condition exist , It is very possible that you have to recondition the pistons, rings or cylinders
injectors are sealed where they go in the manifold by "O" rings
If you didn't use new "O" rings when replacing the injectors or used lubricant like grease to help install the injector through the rings ,it is possible that fuel pressure is allowing fuel past the injector tip into the cylinder.
Diesels can use lots of fuel mainly when the injectors and/ or pump need reconditioning. When the air filter is dirty and needs changing. When the accelerator doesnt' go to full throttle on the stop setting but has clearance to the stop screw. When the engine oil is too heavy from not being changed often enough. When the fuel filters need changing
i had a similar problem on my 2002 E46 320d, i put it to BMW who changed the fuel filter and a fuel sensor then hey presto normal service resumed! hope this helps
