SOURCE: how to replace a coolant level sensor, 2000 buick century

The coolant level sensor is located on the radiator. If you are looking at the engine from the front of the car it will be on the left side. There will some kind of clip holding it in the radiator. Removed the clip and pull the sensor out. You will lose coolant so try to swap it out quick or drain some of the coolant out. Once new sensor is installed, install clip to keep the sensor in place and reconnect the wires to the sensor. Crank the engine and make sure the coolant level is full. This should correct your problem.

SOURCE: 1991 Century Buick V6 starter replacement.

remove the positive battery cable from the post
remove the 3 wires from the starter and the two bolts holding the starter to the block.
reverse the procedure for installation.

Testimonial: "I know that there is usually only 2 bolts to remove a starter. I've identified one bolt but was not sure about the location of the other one. Thanks"

SOURCE: Starter seems to be out on 2003 Buick Century- it

It's possible it could be bad...However double check your battery, and your battery cables, and make sure you have enough voltage at the battery..should be atleast 12.6..give a take a few, but no less than 9.6..and if your terminals are not tight, that will cause that to happen also...Goodluck....

SOURCE: 2002 Buick Century starts good idels good But no

sounds lik either a fuel filter plugged or the cat is plugged, check fuel pressure or just replace filter and if that isn't it have a muffler shop check the exhaust for excessive back pressure.

My 2002 Buick century wont (crank) turn over ..jumped solenoid,it turns over but won't start ..checked all fuses and relays.. good happened after attempting to rewire front turn signal broken plug

Turn signal plug should have nothing to do with it not starting. Disconnect the battery for 10 to 15 minutes. Then try again with the key.
When you jumped the solenoid, it would start because the key may have not been in the run position. So the Security light was on, and did not energize the fuel pump.

Disconnect the battery as stated.

My 2001 century buick wont start new battery all lights come on no clicking radio plays

A few checks here,,, if the vehicle was otherwise in good working order prior to battery exchange , check that all the "+" cables are connected securely to the battery positibe post. it's unlikely to be the Negative post. Check heavy cable from starter motor is securely connected also. check "nuteral" inhibitor switch on transmission is operational ! Good luck

You have a fuel starvation problem, fuel pump, pressure regulator, injectors, any or all of them could be the reason why you are not getting fuel. Someone is going to have to lay hands and eyes on the thing and check it out.

My car wont start but all lights and dash come on

Lisa, how long was the key in the one position? For the heck of it, put the car in neutral, and try to start it. It's possible the neutral safety switch is bad, which could cause the problem. It should start in neutral if that's the problem. Let me know if this works, if not, I'll help further.

Starter seems to be out on 2003 Buick Century- it

have battery tested first, if you have a good battery, replacing the battery is a fairly simple task with good jack, jack stands, and a few metric sockets and wrenches.

Trouble starting but the battery is good

check your grounds. then look for loose connections, then check starter. if rolls over slow it is likely ground or bad starter
