2005 h0nda civic hood safety latch release stuck

This has happened to me several times, this will take two people, but all you need to do is have one person pull the hood release, while person number 2 pushes down on the hood, and then pulls up...that ought to do the trick

pull the latch like you normally would, then look under latch to see the cable. get a pair of vise grip pliars and lock on to this cable and pull hard.

if the cable is not broken then pull the release then take the side of your fist and pound on the hood starting towards the top drivers side and slowly move towards the latch try it a few times i have to do this every single time on my blazer
