2008 srx in heat mode driver side blows hot and passenger side blows cold

ok, zero heat, but only on passenger side.
Caddy SRX
both passenger floor mode and dash vents all dead. blow but not hot.
does AC on, cold blow cold there?
front fails but not rear?
hummmmmmmmm
a complex system here, air delivery
but the SM says scan it first see if you have DTC errors?
check fuses.

me first guess is mode damper actuator failures.
and lots of tests like this in the SM

1. Place the mode switch in the PANEL position.
2. Observe the drive shaft of the mode actuator.
3. Place the defrost switch in the ON position.

Does the drive shaft of the mode actuator rotate?
etc, lots of tests in the service manual, to find dead vents or lack of heat or cold.

Does the vehicle have dual zone climate control, where the driver side and passenger side have different control? Sounds like a blend door issue on the driver side. Why did you replace the passenger side, was it blowing hot too when AC was on?

Just had this happen today to my 2007 silverado heat on the right side cold air on the left side. After engine was off 15 minutes and restarted heat was on both sides. I'm guessing a relay failed to open door to allow the heat to flow thus blowing cold air.will monitor diligently for a while.

OK, check that the zoned heating a/c system isn't set for the passenger side to get hotter than normal air.

Temp. actuator stuck on heat , probably . Manual or automatic climate control . Electrically controlled temp actuator , or the door is stuck in heat side.
