SOURCE: ford bantam rocam 1.6i speedo, temperature gauge and rev counter not working

Sometimes when the batery of vehicle goes flat or when u fit a new car batery to the bantams they love to give that problems like gauges not working rpm not working speedo not working and cluster display is dead, u disconect the batery termanils and for example fit positive termanil and arc. Or short til that blue spark occur then u swop around negative on and arc positive, leave the ignition switched on arc til gauges move!! Don't ask me why but that happend to me! A autoelek friend of mine showed me this! NB don't tri this with vehicles with a lot of elektric featers it can cause demage to ecu (engine control unit)

SOURCE: instrument cluster

You have probably left off or not plugged in a connector properly. They are only supposed to plug in 1 way but sometimes can be forced in back to front. Check all the connections and multi plugs.

2001 Ford SPORT TRAC. The SPEEOMETER NOT WORKING?

Question edited for clarity and add maker. changed funky
'(letter)- space-comma-letter 'CLUSTER ,STILL NO SPEEDO'.
Question moved to Model Category.
Please don't type in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and is harder to read.

Your problem is the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). No idea why you would think it was the cluster or have anything to do with the ABS! Just take it to a professional.

The most common reasons a Ford Explorer Sport Trac speedometer isn't working are the vehicle speed sensor (VSS), a faulty speedometer, or an electrical issue. Search our network of RepairPal Certified shops near you to speak with a technician about your issue. The rear wiper may stop working.

Where are the speed sensor situated on a Ford Bantam 1.6 rocam

It is plugged into the transmission where the speedo cable would go in older cars.

What causes the cooling fan to operate non stop/ kicking in very often?

The temperature of the coolant (mixture)... is monitored by a thermostat... which then activates the cooling fan...

It is most likely in a ten year old car... that the cooling system has NEVER BEEN serviced... and more likely the FAN and Temperature sensor are the early warnings of a major cooling system failure.

Check your pump, hoses, fluid levels...for any obvious signs of leaks...

Invest in a pressure tester (see below) and test the integrity of your system... before buying that new anti-freeze.

Hope this helps

Yea my odometer and trip is analog and there not working on my 96 ford ranger 4cy all other guages work i was wondering if it is on the rear differental that sensor back there or where its at cause its...

If I am correct that vehicle uses a speedo cable that goes from the instrument cluster to the transmission.
If your speedo is not woorking you may have a bad cable or gear which is on the end of the cable and can be accessed by removing cable from tranny which is held in by a bolt and clip.
If your speedo is working but your odometer is not than you have a problem in the cluster itself.
You can have it repaired at a certified speedo shop or replace it with junkyard unit.

1997 Ford Mustang Speedo not working

I think that there may be a component inside the instrument cluster that wears out. Call you local ford shop and ask if there is a replacement piece for speedo in cluster. We have a ford junkey that fixes all of our used car one's.
