Question about 2004 Dodge Dakota
My old clip is broke,i have a new one buy cant get it to go back in
There should be a screw attaching in up there either under a little tab or under the headliner. The tab can sometimes be a little hidden

I had the same problem and found the broken lower cable guide laying in the bottom of the door. I drilled 2 holes thru the lower end of the regulator and remounted the guide with 2 screws. I then restrung the cable over the guides (not easy to do) and reinstalled the regulator in the door. It works like new.

I have a 96 Honda Civic and my clip broke. Finally got a new one and could figure it out. Finally did. Rotate the visor out of the way. Rotate the clip 90 degrees CCW. Gently pry down on the clip and remove. Installation of the new clip is opposite the removal.
