There are a few possible ways to reset the Ford Focus anti-theft security system. One way is to put the physical key in the lock, and then turn it to the unlock position. I bought a 2000 Jetta that someone poped the ignition switch out. The imoblizer prevented the theaft. I guess the dealer wanted $800+ to repair and reprogram. I had the imoblizer deleted from the Ecu. Only $50. I'm sure they can put them back also. But then you will have to get your stuff programed. Look on line for imoblizer delete
Did you reset the computer after changing the sensor. If you have no way to reset it properly try disconnecting the batter for 5-10 minutes and see if that clears the computer.
if you have your stereo code you need to disconnect the negative side of the battery and while its dissconnected you need to turn the ignition to the start position a couple of times and then reconnect the battery this should discharge any residual electricity now when you turn your ignition on your dash instruments should reset
