SOURCE: 2001 subaru outback headlight not working

chapmnfarm: your head lights use a "2" fuse system.
one for the left and one for the right.
The fuse box you are looking for is under the hood on the passenger's side. It is a black box roughly 8 inches long and 4-5 inches wide. When you remove the cover, you will see fuses and relays. What you are looking for is the section in the box which has a cluster of 7 fuses. 3 in one row and 4 in the other. On the outer parameter are two relays. The fuses you are interested in are located in the row of 4 fuses, with the two closest to the "L" shaped part of the box. Both of those should be 15 amp fuses.
The fuse below those should be a 20 amp which is the lighting switch and the one below it is a 15 amp which is for the interior lights and the clock.
Check your harness grounds in the engine compartment near the area you have the problem. There are ground wires which come out of the harness on both sides of the core support. The wires are black in color and have "EYES" crimped onto the ends of the wires. Both of them will probably be located about 4-6 inches below the upper tie bar on each side of the radiator. Odds are that the eyes will be large enough to pass a 6mm bolt through.
I hope what I have given you will resolve your problem. Lem me know,,good luck>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

SOURCE: 2005 nisson altima interior lights not functioning

Hopefully you've gotten your car fixed by now, but mine just did the same thing today 4/25/2010. While changing the dome light, I blew the 10 amp 'Batt Saver' fuse located inside the car driver side fuse area. The mini fuses in the interior are nearly impossible to check if they are blown without a tester. I bought a cheap one for $5 at AutoZone and discovered. Once replaced, all worked fine. Hope this helps someone else with the same problem I had today.

We are looking for the fuses related to the high & low beam headlights for 2006 Nissan Altima. Not sure where they are for both and the legends for the fuse box

Why ? Both hi & lo beams not working ? Either side ? Has four fuse's , two relays . headlight high relay & headlight lo relay . Both relays are controlled by CPU located inside the IPDM - intelligent power distribution module . located under the hood in engine compartment . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb/ Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on lighting , then under subsystem click on headlamps . Then click the search button ,then the blue link's one at a time . Looking at the wiring diagram i'd say your problem is going to be a little more complex then just replacing fuse's .

Low beam headlight - passenger side - on my 2006 Buick Lacrosse does not work. I've tried a new bulb - no help. The fuse - underhood fuse box - for the low beam is good. There is no voltage to that fuse...

From Info I have looked at I believe under hood micro switch relay 35 is for low beam and 34 is for high beam. It also looks like you have a different fuse for each light. The relay are for both low beam or both high beams. each headlight has its own fuse. I believe #4 fuse under hood is for passenger side low beam. fuses 1-4 under hood are for the four headlights as I understand the info I have seen.

I HAVE A 2006 NISSAN ARMADA WITH THE REAR RUNNING LIGHTS OUT. CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THE LOCATION FOR THE FUSE PANEL OTHER THAN THE PANEL IN THE PASSENGER SIDE DASH. IS THERE ANOTHER FUSE PANEL WHERE I WILL...

Under hood, near firewall, right (passenger) side of the vehicle behind the strut tower is the second fuse box.

If the fuse isn't blown, check the bulbs. There is a chance that they both blew.

Help stuck n storm..where is fusebox 2004 murano windshieldwipers

There's no need to remove the fuse to change wiper blades.
If there are electrical problems the fuse locations are driver's bottom left near steering wheel, and under the hood. Under the hood is the ipdm located on the passenger side near the alternator. More fuses can be found beside the battery.
If your wiper motor runs but wipers don't move, the linkage is disconnected.

Which fuse do I replace for the display/radio screen

There are 2 locations it could be:
- The first is under the glove box cover.There are several mini fuses in there.The next place to look is under the hood.There is a large fuse box on the passenger side by the alternator. The fuses are labeled in the cover.
- The last place is right by the battery, there is also a fuse box which is labeled.

Maybe, you need review this documents:
- 2006 Nissan Murano Owners Manual / PDF
* Display Screen: Section 4-44 / Page 156
* Fuses: Section 8-21 / Page 280

Good luck, and remember rated the help.

Have an '03 murano, the fuel door will not open intermittantly, bought a fuel door relay but can not find where it is located.

Hello bpowell_62...The fuel door release relay for you Murano is located next to the fuse circuit box...The Nissan part number for the relay is: 25230-79916...You might try holding the release button down for 10-15 seconds a few times to see if it will release. If you can hear the sound of the actuator motor running then the relay is working, The actuator may be defective or the locking mechanisim may be out of adjustment.... the actuator part number is CA000-ACTUA
Good luck...i hope this helps, please rate me a fixya
