That is usually a tire pressure sensor warning light telling you that your tire pressure is at an unsafe level or that a sensor is bad. Think of that symbol as a cutaway of a tire.

thats your TPMS light, Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The light means that one of your tires is low on air, so check them all and fill them to the specified amount, which will be located on the drivers side door jamb.

It is the check engine light, the computer has detected a fault, and has stored it in memory.
The vehicle needs to be connected to an OBDII handset to read the codes. If you live in the US, take it to any Auto Zone store and they will read off the codes for you, once you have the codes, you are on your way to finding the problem. This may be possible at other major auto parts stores but you will have to call your local store to confirm.
