The tumblers have wore down and won't let the key turn. At this point you need to have the tumbler set replaced.
God Bless You Greg
SOURCE: oil leak
could be anything from description im fraid, if i was to tell you that if the top of yur engine is full of oil in the connection to the cylinders then it will prob be rocker gasket, however if the oil is coming out of the bottom of the engine then you might have sump gasket probs or sump plug malfunction, or worse case scenario oil seals for one of your external pumps. sorry i couldnt be more specific.

here are a few problems to look out for:
Check-engine light: Check engine light comes on due to carbon buildup on the exhaust valves of 2.5L engine. (1995-02)
Engine noise: Some engines make a metallic tapping noise requiring a new friction-gear spring on the camshaft. (1995)
Headlights: The headlight drain hoses can get kinked by the aiming screws causing fogging. (1995-96)
Keys: It may be hard to turn the ignition key because the steering shaft is not positioned correctly. (1995)
Steering problems: The steering wheel may be off center requiring adjustment of the tie rods. (1995).

hold light flashing means you have a transmission fault of some kind, check vehicle speed sensor

The check engine light comes on when there is a problem with your engine and throws a code which it then stores. That code can be "read" by an OBDI/OBDII scanner and should give you the info you need. If it was scanned and the codes "read" the check engine light should of been re-set. If your car is running well have your mechanic re-set it; if it comes on again take it and have it checked again. No system is fool proof and there may still be a problem. Hope this helps.
