2014 chrysler 200 3.6 oil sending unit location

The oil pressure sensor (2) is located on the oil filter housing (3). The oil pressure sensor is a three wire sensor with a tapered threaded sensor port. The sensor port is mounted to the oil filter housing through an access hole. A thread lock patch seals the oil pressure sensor to the oil filter housing.

The repair procedure says you need to remove the upper and lower intake manifold. It says the sensor converts pressure to a voltage. "The zero pressure reading is 0.5 volt and full scale is 4.5 volt." You might want to check the wires and grounds before going to all the trouble to replace the sensor

2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo overheating. replaced fan relay and thermostat, and its still overheating

suggest that you rent a pressure tester from auto zone or advance auto and preform a pressure test on your cooling system. follow the instructions on the test of pressure to your cooling system, also check for coolant leaks onto the ground from radiator area. may be bad water pump, broken hose, heater hose, upper radiator, lower radiator,or a bad radiator itself. a simple pressure tester will reveal the coolant leak. but make sure to follow the instructions with the pressure tester,as you can damage your coolant system otherwise. thank you for choosing fixya.com

1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L engine. Oil

I'm assuming the engine is still running and no engine noise has occured due to loss of oil pressure, and it is just the gauge that is not reading? If so, the oil pressure switch that is located on the camshaft sensor, could have a bad connection or the oil sensor will need to be replaced. The oil sensor is located on the left side of the engine and is mounting horizontally on the camshaft sensor housing.

Oil pressure gauge stays at almost max.

The oil pressure switch on a 4.0 is on the passenger side of the block toward the back near the firewall. It has a green electrical connector. Take out the sending unit look to see if there are any obstructions. I would replace it they are not exspensive they go bad all the time.
