My 2012 Lexus RX450H cigeratte lighter is not working. Checked fuse is ok

Fuse on the driver side under steering marked CIG is ok. What can be the issue. Thanks

you may have burned out the lighter unit.check the wires for melting also!

the fuse for the cig. lighter is a 15amp fuse,its located under the streering wheel,on the left side,its under there,you'll see a black box wit the fuse indicators on it.

For 2006 VW Jetta 2.5, cigarette lighter fuse 20A (yellow) is placed in the fuse box on passenger's side. See picture below:

Sounds like the wires have come lose on the back of the Cigarette lighter, if that isn't it you may need a new lighter.

No power to cigarette lighter,2011 lexus es 350. checked fuses ,they are ok.
Use a D C tester and check for voltage it could be a bad lighter. if that dose not work take your voltage tester and put one lead in the lighter hole on the center and ground the other lead to the metal on the car check for voltage. You may have a bad ground.

look on the side of your dash on the drivers side. remove cover, and use a test light to check your fuses with, hope this helps

I am nearly positive that this model has an additional fuse block under the hood. Look on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
