There is a mother lock for all door and it is located to the driver side door. Maybe you need to replace it but if a electrician can do something about it to save money do so, but I highly recommend to replace the mother lock for hassel free.
1. Locate the red two wired programming connector located near the central locking control module that is located behind LH Lower instrument panel. Drop the panel and you will see the red programming connector that is not connected to anything. 2. Inside the Red programming connector you will see to pins.. Jump two pins with a section of wire. 3. System should now lock and unlock doors to indicate vehicle has entered programming mode. 4. Press any button on keyless remote once. System should now lock and unlock doors indicating the keyless remote has been programmed. 5. Repeat step 4 to program other remote. 6. The Electric LOCK SOLINOID is FAULTY and is STUCK on LOCK, This Requires the Door Pannel to be Removed to Access the Assmbly to Release the LOCK and then the LOCK Solinoid must be Replaced.
You can replace with any of "universal" actuator.
Its just a small motor inside power door lock, that works up and down according to the electricity that come into it. Good luck !
More than likely an actuator...just replced the one in my pathfinder. Easy to remove and replace.....check your fuses first though. If you have a bad actuator and need help on the procedures, just reply to this post and I will get a notification through my email. Swap the actuator with one from the drivers door. You should know if you actuator is bad. Another thing it might be also is that there is a little plastic "pin" that pops the lock up. If it is broken off, you need to replace the little piece. Take a look at it and you will see what I mean.
if the pin switch on the door is faulty, it may be sending spikes to the bulb which it does not like. Change the pin switch at the door, and your problems may be over.
