screwed into the exhaust pipe either side of the cat converter, if having running/mpg problems i'd recommend using a fuel addative specifically designed for the cat as well as the valves etc
yes on some cars this is normal, the amount of current that the clock draws is very minimal and should not cause problems with a battery. Unless not used for very long periods
Probably have to replace the instrument cluster. But check with the dealer first and have them run a VMI on your car by giving them the VIN of the vehicle. There was a recall on the instrument clusters a few years back. Check and see if yours applies. Since it was a recall there is no charge and recalls never expire. Since its a digital display and not available separately for the cluster either replace the cluster or see if you can send it out to someone who can repair it.
I would have to send this to you via email due to this sites lack of space. If this is ok, try [email protected] and I will get those right to you free of charge.
The EA82 does not use shims. Ticking almost always caused by a failed oil pump to engine block gasket failure. The gasket slowly fails which then allows the oil pump to pump air along with the oil. Replace the "Mickey Mouse" oil pump gasket.
