LOUD WHIRRING NOISE FROM CHEVY BLAZER TRANNY

Hey, guys! I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer and a rebuilt tranny. The problem is when I start the car I hear a loud whirring noise and the car acts like it doesn't want to move..about five minutes later after it warms up it moves freely. This is alos happening on the highway now and it bogs down and drives slowly. Is it the converter or tranny oil pump. I have gad this problem for a while. thaks.

It sounds more like the pump, if the converter fails it would have a crazy lock up shifting problem. Sometimes the bearing for the torque converter will loosen and spin in the housing this to could be the issue.

My 1985 chevy s10 blazer 2.8l auto has a 4inch lift with 33x12.5. I have no power when I hit the gas. The truck just goes. I would like to knpw where to start? And if I can do something to get more power?...
you dont have a choice on a tranny with a 2.8 v6 my suggestion is to go small block chevy if you have the money.

Where are the shift modules on a 1997 chevy s10 blazer auto tranny the car won't down shift properly into low gear after coming to a complete stop. this is the third transmission for this car.
If this is third tranny ,I would start to begin thinking of a computer problem.I woyld find it hard to beleve that 3 trannys in a row are the fault.

Transmission leaks, clunks into gear
Well your clunking noise is most likely the u-joints the leaking pan is the tranny pan what you would have to do is get a tranny kit and change the pan gasket tranny filter and fluid or take to a shop and have a tranny service done.

Blazer will not go in reverse
Need a new tranny! Just had that happen a few months ago to my 02 silverado. I would call a chevy delaership first and see if there are any recalls on them first before take it to a mechanic! Good luck with everything I know it can be a headache but make sure you get as many quotes as possible!
