i would not take these code readings as gospel on a renault ,if this vehicle is a 2008 then its impossible to read any codes for this vehicle without connecting to the internet and then to the renault factory who call the IP back to ensure its a dealer ,then operators fingetprint is taken to confirm .Only people who can read a code are renault (europeon market vehicles) ,if turbo not working then its a mechanical fault here on this model ,check the air pipes and block off the EGR valve with a nice coca cola can home made gasket and see how it runs
sorry but no code number this high in the jaguar codes so i would contact the code reader manufacturer and ask for a definination of what their codes read ,jaguar codes only read up to 1470 with a P in front ,if this problem is what i think it is then its a new panel unit ---OUCH--- expensive
Im sorry but there are no codes for a 2005 jaguar xtype that read 1736, also make sure to get the letter or letters, but i checked the b codes the po codes and u codes and nothing with 1736, double check and let me know the correct code and i will help you, good luck.
You need to get the diganostic code read my your local mechanic, It may be a simple problem like O2 sensor or similar. You can check the code meanings on http://www.bluejag.co.uk/
the code p0045 means "TC solenoid circuit fault" but the P00 means the code has to do with Fuel/Air metering, my guess would be an oxygen sensor, I would start there.
Both these codes relate to Catalyst efficiency below threshold on banks 1+2. This is normally caused by a combustion fault. This fault may be shown due to a faulty sensor in either air imput or exhaust systems, Get the memory read at a dealers or good garage. If you had a serious problem the car would not drive well.
Hope this helps - good luck.
