Unfortunatly these roofs are basically a complete unit with cable and frame all in one unit where as previous roofs had replacable components. Assuming yourr roof seal is not torn or damaged you can adjust the glass somewhat. There are 6 torx style bolts that secure the roof to the tilting brackets. I would raise the roof in the pop up position and carefully remove the side bellows(They are also a common failure and can cause roof to bind or not operate to complete rest postion)-they pop out by pulling outward. Just remove the bottom section so you can easily reinstall them. Next loosen the back torx screws( I beleive they are size t20) and push roof up as far as you can and resecure. If only one side is not popping up as far as it should just do that side. Then try resynchronizing the roof parameters by pushing the button untill roof is in forward postion and hold for approximatly 10 seconds-next push button untill roof is in pop up position and hold for 10 seconds. You can also loosen all 6 screws by popping off the plastic trim piece in front of roof and loosening the screws and pushing roof all the way forward. but you will spend alot of time adjusting utill roof is perfect. good luck

Nissan rogue sunroof wont slide open. It will tilt up but not slide

1. Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
2. Push and hold the sunroof switch toward 2 . Once the sunroof has reached the full tilt position, release the switch. Push and hold the switch toward the 2 position again. After a delay of four seconds, the sunroof will make a small movement and backup.
3. Release the switch.
4. Within 5 seconds of releasing the switch, push and continuously hold the switch toward 2 . The sunroof will move from the tilt position to the open position and back to the close position.

Asc sunroof was stuck open had to remove motor to close tested motor and it works fine. The control switch luminated however the asc button would not turn red. Help were should I look next?

These aftermarket ASC sunroof are among the best but they do require frequent lubrication and maintenance. Use WD-40 or other penetrating oil anywhere that appears rusty, and use a lightweight grease for all tracks, pivots, and gears. After thoroughly lubricating the tracks, gears, and pivots, check to make sure that the END STOP microswitches are properly adjusted and providing continuity. It is also possible that the controller has failed.

My sunroof closes all the way except for about 2inches at the end. any help?

There are springs/clips on both sides where the sunroof closes, if they are worn out/damaged/loose then it will not close properly/all the way. Inspect them while someone opens and closes your sunroof to identify the problem

95 GRND CHEROKE sunroof supports have come loose and it leaks.

The bigest problem with this model jeep sunroof is the cable conduit in the rear of sunroof is broken loose. can be accesed by removing the headliner. But the tracks are accessed from the sunroof opening after removing the glass. the part department at the dealership can give you a breakdown basicly the only replacable parts are the tracks, Price about $200.00 each.

My sun roof doesn't work well

I would open the sunroof COMPLETELY , clean tracks , and lubricate tracks as far back as you can. Operate the roof back and forth a few times. This should help

Sunroof info

There should be a switch for the sunroof on the left end of the dashboard panel. Push it up to close it and down to open it. It's a 'rocker-type' switch that says ROOF on it.
