Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a Lexus 1996 LS 400

The fuel pressure should be on the fuel rail that feeds gas into the intake manifold.

Most all pressure regulators are located on the fuel rail under the hood. It should have a vacuum line attached to it

run fault codes and replace faulty sensors. have a fuel pressure . Check injectors for correct operationtest done on the fuel manifold to test fuel pressure regulator. pump and filters/

I belive it is Where the air pump cover is located the fuel pump relay should be located in that area. Right side(passenger) towards the fire wall.

The fuel regulator is located behind the back seat. There is a 9" access port in the center of the fuel tank behind the back seat. located in the center of the open port you will see a fuel hose with some hose clamps....the 3 semicircular bolts that line the bottom of the portal anchor the bracket that holds the fuel regulator mounted deeper in the fuel tank.

Your fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator are not supplying constant fuel pressure. Too much or too little is causing it to kill. You can pull the vacuum line from the regulaor and check for gas. If there is none, you need a pump, it is weak.
