My 2006 saturn ion 2 seem to be burning more gas and the fuel gauge not working right.
The problem you are describing comes down to a tune up and a new thermostat get them done and clear the codes

The codes p0452 and p0463 refer to the fuel sender unit. There may be a wiring problem and the gauge is not working properly.
p0128 indicates that the engine is running too cold. Possible stuck thermostat in open position. This would cause the engine to run a richer fuel mixture.

The problem may be the fuel sensor it self giving the PCM faulty readings. Hook up a scanner will give you father information. The open Tstate would actually keep the engine cooler. If you always have heat in the vents, you may have a door problem or a heater control valve problem.

It means there is a problem in the fuel sending unit circuit. The PCM uses a 5v reference on this system to calculate fuel level. There is either a problem in the sending unit or related wires.

no i still have code po128 the check engine light come on sometime while driving and then it go back off the other codes they havn't came back but i don't think my fuel gauge working right sometime when i fill up with gas the gauge go past the (F) and sometime it just go up to (F)i fill up with gas Friday it didn't hold but $8.00 and the fuel gauge was between the (E)and 1/4 i don't think the gauge is right i replace a new fuel pump assembly what could be causing it not to work correctly what i need to check?
You could have a defective sending or it could be getting stuck, as far as P0128 how is the temperature is it all ways the same after warm up...does the heater work correctly?
