Lexus RX300 2004 Gasoline gauge problem

I recently bought a Lexus RX 300 2004. It runs both on gasoline and propane. I realized that when I put gasoline to the carlets say 1/2 tank and after 2-3 days the gasoline gauge shows it is empty. My car runs most of the time in propane, only uses gasoline when the engine starts for the first time and within a minute it will switch to propane. Is there an easy fix for it?

The most likely problem is the sender unit in the tank is stuck.
Sender units are relatively cheap and easy to change.
Autozone probably carry them on the shelf.

SOURCE: duel tank problem

It sounds to me like you like you have a fuel pump problem in your front tank. I don't know what to tell you without knowing what engine is in your truck but that is what I would start to check first.

well i would start looking at a spark problem coils, wires try by spraying a mist of water over the wires and coils with the engine running you will soon find out if thats your problem you will see sparks jumping and or the engine will start missing.

How do I fix

It is possible that the gasoline deteriorated to the point that it is no longer gasoline. It depends on how long the car sat. If the gasoline is bad, it will have to be drained out and new gasoline added back into the gas tank.

The minimum compression required is 95 psi, below this there is no good combustion, incusive the spark plug gets wet in gasoline
If this condition exists, you should check the piston rings and cylinder surface

I have ran my 01 lexus is 300 on empty and got stauled on side of the road now with out not paying attention i tryed to start the car now that i got gas back in the car it drives very badly why?

you probably picked-up some bad gasoline or the container that was used to refill had water in it. fill the tank and put some fuel additive in the tank and drive. it should be alright after a few highway miles.

I have a AWD 200 Lexus RX 300 and wanted to know

You don't need to change diff oils very often after first initial stage (usually about 25000km) After that about 80000km capacity should be in manual Probably about a quart each but just fill them up till oil starts running out cause the hole where you put the oil in is the level
