All the doors except driver side on my Subaru Outback 2013 do not unlock with remote control. mechanic said problem is with integrated module. is it covered under warranty?

The body control module is responsible for controlling various electrical functions in a vehicle, including door locks. Removing the 50-amp fuse could have caused the module to reset, which may have resulted in the driver side door becoming locked.

Owner manual has some pages to do with Door lock and unlock. Go to the search and put door unlock and a few pages come up.
I did see when the drivers door inside handle is pulled it should unlock the doors if car is off. The other thing mentioned on several page is contact dealer for changes to door lock and unlock operation.
This owner's manual may help you with other issues if you don't have the manual.

Will that door unlock from the master switch at the drivers door or the rear left doors own switch ?

there is a theft locking module in the center consel next to the dash

It appears that the plastic clip on the door controls has broken . need to remove the door cover or trim card and repair/ replace clips . not verry expensive to buy

i have found on my 99 outback that if you disconnect the battery this happens usually all you have to do is use you remote door lock and unlock button a couple of times

Does the switch inside for that door work ? Does the power window work for that door ? Check fuse DDM - 15 amp I/P fuse panel . Do you know where the insturment panel fuse box is located ?

Circuit/System Description
The driver and passenger door lock and side window switches are integrated control module switch assemblies. The DDS and PDS door lock switches are normally open, 2 position rocker type switches, with detents for lock and unlock. The DDS and PDS are directly connected to the respective door lock actuator through the door lock actuator control circuits. When a door lock or unlock function is activated from the DDS or PDS, a serial data message lock or unlock command is sent to the other door switch and body control module.

door handle probably broken ,usually the part of the handle that houses the rod that moves latch breaks,see if the outside handlehas less resistance than others when lifting it this is a pretty good indicator
