You need to take off the head off the k jetronic and clean the valve this will free the pistons to move and will get fuel splay to the injectors, I like the 5 cylinders engine all the best.

SOURCE: i have same problem on my (Audi A4 3.0L)

try somethng simple. change fuel filter. add can of SEAFOAM to tank of PREMIUM gas. allow to idle for 3-5 min. drive hard for 10 minutes. get Zone or Advance to cut off light. go 30 miles. change fuel filter again. this is a case of Ethanol gas syndrome. it causes oxy readings ff the scale; carbonizes fuel, emission, and engine internals, try this first. add SEAFOAM every 3-5000 miles to clean this waer and goop out and see how it works. also, you might be able to clean oxy sensors or replace them.

Torque settings cylinder head audi q7 2009 3 litre turbo diesel

Doesn't use foot/lbs for torque. Audi uses the degree of angle torque. 5 step tightening process in which the last 2 steps use additional 90 degree angle.

Audi a3 1.9 tdi se 5 door. Complete faliure of central locking system and electric windows. Can anyone offer any suggestions, or has experienced this problem with any audi mode. Thanksl

what ever you do don't go to a audi shop as it will cost you a £1000.00 with out vat and £32.50 for every half hour of there time. try to resync. switch engine on with spare key and remove the remote fob from the key, shut the door and lock the door with the key within 5 seconds press unlock on the first remote to be coded untill the indicators flash once, wait 5 seconds and press unlock again to confirm this memory position. Remove ignition key and test remote if o.k repeat for other remotes adding extra positions by sitting indicators flash. position 2 will be two flashes. if no flashes then get the fault memory read. This may take a few attempts and lots of sweaing. Regards Samantha

1989 Audi 500 se Automatic - Speedomoter

The gear on the odometer is stripped. Quite the common problem with Audi's of this vintage. Parts available at: http://speedometergears.com/

To fix, you have to pull the gauge cluster, remove the speedo from the cluster, then remove the odometer from the speedo. The gear replacement is pretty easy once you get it all apart.

1986 toyota deceleration problem

Hi,

If I understand your concern, you have backfiring when decelerating, if yes, a possibility is that your air/fuel ratio is too lean, there is too much air and/or too little fuel. This could also be brought about by using free breathing air filter (such as K & N) instead of the original air box/filter and no re-jetting/re-calibration done. Either that or the exhaust system has been modified or replaced with free flow, headers or sport tuned. If yes, then either the carbs have not been re-jet or the injector has not been re-calibrated. It may also require re-mapping of the ECU.

Depressing the clutch when decelerating disengages the load and therefore no engine breaking is happening.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
