I have a Genuine Roughhouse 50 and the rear bulb works when I apply the brake, but isn't on idly all the time anymore so I bought new bulbs and need some help with how to get to the bulb to replace it. Thanks.

I would guess the brake fuse ( this does not use the same fuse as the tail lights/blinkers) or the ground for the brake light bulb.

I have the same problem with my 2004 Trailblazer LT. Driver side brake light does not illuminate. All other lights work fine. Replaced bulbs. Still does not illuminate. Cannot figure out which fuse goes to this light. Could it be a fuse?

This is usually caused by a defective multifunction switch, see it quite allot, the clue is the 3rd brake light, it is on a separate fuse and does not run through the multifunction switch on the steering column.
