Most likely the coolant temperature sensor for the vehicle computer. Secondly, could be the tps sensor "throttle position sensor" not registering correctly or perhaps lots of other things but most likely the coolant temp sensor.

Sounds like a fuel issue. If it only does it when it's cold try putting some heet in your tank?

Just from what you said it sounds like your vehicle might not be holding its residual pressure which means after you turn a vehicle off, your fuel injection system should hold a certain amount of pressure in the system, but if that pressure drops to fast your vehicle may have a hard time starting. Things to look for when you lose fuel pressure is the fuel pressure regulator may be leaking, fuel pump check valve, leaky fuel injector or they maybe a small leak in one of the fuel lines. I only suggested this cause i had a car with the similar problem.

You have no carburetor in that truck. you have a fuel injection system. Check the fuse to the fuel pump to see if it's bad. The other thing that may have gone bad is the fuel pump and that's in the gas tank. If you are going to have to change the fuel pump, it may be easier to lift the box from the rails to get to the top of the gas tank. The other way is to drop the tank.
When you turn the ignition key to the run position you should hear the fuel pump run for about 3 seconds. If you don't then most of the time it's going to have to be changed. The fuel pump is electric and the only thing that keeps it from burning up is the fuel in the tank. A low fuel gas tank will have a hotter running fuel pump.
The other thing too that is the fuel filter may be dirty and plugged up. it's located under the drivers side on the inside frame rails. You may want to try changing the filter first if the pump is working and has at least 60 to 65 pounds of pressure to activate the fuel injectors.
Good luck and hope this helps.

P0300 - Random / Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Possible Causes:
- Improper spark plug
- Insufficient compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- The injector circuit is open or shorted
- Fuel injectors may be faulty
- Intake air leak
Possible Solutions:
- Perform Injector Service
- Replaced Spark Plugs
- Replaced Injectors
- Replaced Ignition Coils
P0301- Cylinder Number 1 Misfire Detected
Possible Causes:
- Improper spark plug at cylinder #1
- Insufficient compression at cylinder #1
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- The injector circuit is open or shorted at cylinder #1
- Fuel injector #1 may be faulty
- Intake air leak at cylinder
Possible Solutions:
- Perform Injector Service
- Replaced Spark Plug #1
- Replaced Injector #1
- Replaced Ignition Coil #1
Most likely your issue is with cylinder number 1. Follow the info I have provided and you should be able to solve this issue.
