SOURCE: diagram bypass heater cord on 2001 ford expedition eddie bauer

the heater bypass is quite simple, if you look at the firewall you will see two medium sized coolant lines, remove them from the firewall and link them together using a proper sized tube, you can purchase a kit at a parts store quite cheaply

SOURCE: How to replace high/low beam switch on 2004 Ford Focus LX?

Should be fairly easy. Make sure to disconnect the positive battery cable. Remove the cover from around the column behind the steering wheel. Should take a star driver to remove the screws holding the cover together. Once the screws are removed pop the cover apart and you will see the multifunction switch on the column, should have two to three screws holding it to the column remove the screws and it should come out pretty easy replace with new one and put back together.

1994 Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4 wont go into Drive???

Question edited for clarity, full year make model
Question moved to sub category.

It appears to have history. A bit worrying you say 'kinda changed the filter and fluid'. Most are sealed for life, and the amount of fluid is critical. If you drain, you measure what comes out and replace with the same amount of the right type of ATF.

You are not alone with issues

How do I pull the heater core on a 1991 Ford Explorer XL?

Actually, it is pretty easy to do. remove the glove box assembly. the case cover is right there. remove the 2 heater hoses under the hood. remove the inside cover screws and the core unbolts and comes right out. It only pays 1.2 hours in a shop. And you don't have to mess with the A/C system.

2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer rear defog switch stuck on draining battery

The switch itself is probably bad. You can pop the switch out and unplug the wires to verify. You can pull the fuse to deactivate temporarily. The fuse is probably powering other items too, so find out what else is sharing the fuse.

How do I program a 2004 Ford Explorer (Eddie Bauer edition) automatic garage door opener?

Download the owners manual in PDF, and search for homelink. The instructions are somewhat long, so this would be an easier route.

URL for Ford's PDF version of owners manuals :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

The outline is train a remote to the visor ( so the homelink gets the base code ) and then train the button on the homelink to the opener ( the visor has a different shared code, so it is a 2 step process ).

Takes about 5 min to do. Also make sure you do not have more than 6 remotes on the door you are programming, else it will push the 1st one off ( usually the case with Chamberlin, your mfgr could be more or less )
