SOURCE: The air conditioning, the blower fan

One suggestion. Have you checked the fuses ?

I would check the AC or blower fuse to start with. If you have the drivers manual it will show you where the fuse box is. Typically there are at least two boxes to check. One in the Engine compartment and one in the passenger cabin.

Look inside the lid of the fuse box to see which fuse may apply to the AC circuits or the blower and check to see if they are blow. the metal link between the two posts that plug in. If the link is missing you need to replace the fuse with one of the same rating. Make sure you know where you took the fuse out from and put it back in the same slot if its good. Check all the main fuses if possible to see if any have blown and replace if they have.

look for Main A/C relay, look for fuses, or go to a/c shop and have gas check out, perhaps leaks, perhaps evaporator, perhaps condenser, but start for relay box on front passengers side, or fuses on same side

To remove the radio: Remove the ashtray by raising the armrest cover and removing the two screws at the rear of the ashtray. Slide the ashtray back and then lift it out. Be careful of the two front tabs, as you don't want to break them. Reach below the wood console, where the ashtray front tabs were inserted. Loosen and remove the two wing nuts. With a small, long flat bladed screwdriver, pry out the leather shifter surround. The leather shifter surround has a center chrome retaining ring, the leather surround, and then finally a black plastic surround. The chrome retaining ring has 3-4 tabs which are locked in below the leather surround. It depends on the year of the Jaguar. Probably the 95 has three, but maybe four. They should be at the front and rear of the trim piece (2 front and 1 back, or 2 front and two back) but I've seen then on the sides. The point is, you have to be careful with the screwdriver and find the tabs. The screwdriver should be slid between the leather and the retainer. Pull upwards on the retainer gently, and as you loosen the tabs, it will come out. Remove the leather surround. Once the chrome retainer has been removed, it should be easy to work it out of the console. Loosen the black trim ring gently as it has tabs as well, but they are visible once the leather trim has been removed. Lift it upwards out of the wood trim and pull it to the side out of the way. You don't need to disconnect the wires, just lay the black trim to the side. Lift the rear of the wood console trim and gently, gently slide it back and up. It will try to hang on the leather console, and can be difficult. Patience is important, as the walnut on the ski slope cracks easy (really easy). Once the wood console trim (ski slope) is removed, you should have a row of screws up the side of the center control panel, where the radio and AC controls are. There are four to six on each side, depending on what Jaguar used at the time, as the 95 cars mechanically are somewhat of a blend of the XJ40 and the XJ300. Remove these screws, and note any spacers that were behind them. These spacers get lost quickly, and cause the ski slope to sit awkwardly on the console. The radio will slide forwards once these screws are removed. Remove the radio harness and the antenna lead. As the books say, assembly is reverse of removal.

There is a resistor that you can buy from Autozone or equivalent. It is a Fan Speed Control Resistor, and is located behind the glove box. It is simple to remove, the hardest part is disconnecting the wire harness. The part is like 25 bucks, and is sure to fix your problem.

I have a 2000 jaguar stype and it won't start I put some gas in the car and tried starter fluid it turned on but cut off 3 times there is pressure in the fuel pump but it still won't start what can it

I would start with all the fuses. Yes this seems like a simple and pointless thing to do but I have a 2002 S type Jaguar and my issue was a fuse in the trunk panel I did not even know existed. You should have 3 fuse boxes. Check all the fuel related fuses first then you can go from there. Also if you have replaced a fuel pump recently pull it out and set it back in the fuel tank. It may not be put in correctly therefore blocking the sock on the pump and not being able to pull fuel. your fuel pump will only fit perfectly only one way. These are simple fixes but most the time that is what it is

My 04 jaguar stype over heated yesterday, Now it won't start???

Yes, it could be the cylinder head gasket. That should probably be the first thing you should have checked. If it overheated bad enough, it can also warp the head necessitating machine shop work to true it up again.

The rear window automatic open and close system has stopped working on my jaguar stype, reg t55 jms

On both rear windows, or just one? If its just one then probably the regulator mechanism in the door has broken (there are some rather fragile plastic parts that can snap with age). The mechanism is easily replaced by removing the door trim (take out two screws found under the rubber mat in the door handle well, and pry off the whole door panel with a wide blade screwdriver or cats paw (start at top edge nearest to rear - 4-6 snap fittings should pop off reasonably easily). Unscrew old mechainsm and replace the whole thing.. Parts usually available on Ebay for $50 to $100, make sure you get the correct orientation, front and rear, and left and right, are all different parts - Lincon LS parts also fit perfectly).

If both windows not working and stopped at the same time... sounds electrical.. start checking fuses?

2000 stype jaguar runs rough while idiling at stop light. Car sometimes just cut off. Have changed plugs and filter and car is still running rough. It appears that sometimes the gas is not flowing properly...

This fault could be anything from a split or perished vacumn pipe somewhere on the inlet manifold to a mass air flow sensor and i would advise that you ask a local mechanic to have a look for you to see if anything is visable from a quick look at the engine .

How to unlock truck jaguar stype when no power

The button or the fob will not work with low or no battery power - you need to use the key. There is a keyhole on the boot under the trim or under by the reg. plate lights according to what facelift model you have.
good luck.
